Shri M Venkatesh presently Director (Refineries), Mangalore Refineries & Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) has been appointed as Managing Director (MD), MRPL for a period of five years with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post on or after 01.06.2018.
M. Venkatesh, appointed by Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, GoI, on 7th January 2015, has taken charge as Director- Refinery of MRPL (Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd, In 1994. Shri Venkatesh joined MRPL as a Deputy Manager in the Technical Services Stream and played a key role in the construction to commissioning of the Phase-Iof MRPL and later in Phase II of the Refinery complex.
Shri Venkatesh’s strategic thinking, ability to innovate and technical prowess pitchforked him into being centrestage in conceptualising Isomerization and Mixed Xylene Complexes in MRPL.
