Oath ceremony was organized for 67 newly-trained graduate students of the year 2018 batch of the Veterinary College of Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS) , Hisar . These included 21 girl students and 46 boys. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. (Dr.) Vinod Kumar Verma, Chief Guest and IPVS Director Dr. SP Dahiya , Student Welfare Director Dr. Pawan Kumar were present on the stage. The program was presided over by Dr. Gulshan Narang, Dean of the Veterinary College.

The function started with Saraswati Vandana by lighting the lamp. After this, the newly trained graduates were administered the oath by Dr. Gulshan Narang, Dean of the Veterinary College. After the oath ceremony, internship completion certificates were distributed to the newly trained graduate students by the chief guest.

On this occasion, the chief guest was Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Vinod Kumar Verma told the newly trained graduate students that their education does not end here , you have to keep increasing your knowledge because learning is a continuous process. It is also very important to update yourself according to time and place. Addressing the students, he said that veterinarians are an important part of today’s society and veterinary medicine is a challenging profession , and the newly trained graduate students have to complete it in this perspective. You have to use the scientific knowledge and skills you have acquired in this course for the progress of the society and discharge your duties honestly at your workplace so that you can provide good services to the society. Dr. Verma said that our business is an important pillar of the Indian economy and we should pay attention to entrepreneurship and not become job seekers but job creators , for which you can start milk and meat processing plants as a startup . Many other enterprises can be started like veterinary diagnostic laboratories , online animal products/animal markets.

While congratulating the present officers, heads of departments , faculty members and veterinary students who took the oath , Luvas Vice Chancellor said that you all deserve congratulations because it is because of your tireless hard work that we are celebrating today’s function. It is because of the hard work of the Luvas family that today you are able to occupy a good place in the society. Expressing his gratitude to the parents present, the Vice Chancellor said that the University is maintaining the trust with which you had admitted your children to Luvas five and a half years ago, and is preparing those children as mature veterinary experts. Rolling in. In the end, he congratulated the trained students and wished them a bright future and said that after taking the oath today, you will be able to do independent veterinary medicine from tomorrow and will be able to provide your services to the society.

Dr. Gulshan Narang, Dean of the Veterinary College, while congratulating the newly trained graduate students, said that in the coming times, they have to serve the livestock of the state like a mature veterinarian so that the name of the university becomes proud. He said that you have to lead the society in the times to come. Hopefully, after completing your veterinary studies , you will now make every possible effort for the progress of animal farmers, society , state and country.

Among the new veterinary students who took the oath, Dr. Ashish Chauhan , Dr. Karan , and Dr. Jasmine shared their experiences during the degree and Dr. Raman Mor presented a poem remembering all his friends. On this occasion, Registrar of Luwas University, Dr. S. S. Dhaka , Research Director Dr. Naresh Jindal , Post Graduate Dean Dr. Manoj Rose , Director of Human Resources and Management Dr. Rajesh Khurana , Dean of Dairy Science College Dr. Sajjan Sihag , Heads of Departments of various departments and students were present. Dr. Divya Agnihotri moderated the stage and briefly explained about the internship program. Finally TVCC Director Dr. Gyan Singh presented the vote of thanks.
