Shri Keshav Chandra IAS (UT 1995) has been appointed as Joint Secretary (Logistics), Department of Commerce from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, by temporarily upgrading a newly created post of Director, Logistics Division, Department of Commerce to Joint Secretary level.

Shri Keshav Chandra twenty years he has served in Arunachal Pradesh, Delhi and Goa. He reckons, Arunachal Pradesh as his most memorable posting, where he spent years at China and Burma border. In Delhi he held the posts of Excise Commissioner, Secretary NDMC and secretary to the Chief Minister.

Shri Keshav Chandra has completed Masters in Economics from London School Of Economics. His hobbies are photography, poetry and painting. He has published two books and the exhibitions of his photographs have been held at various places.Shri Keshav Chandra finds himself lucky to be handling water sector, and managing water supply in one of the largest utilities of the world.
