Shri Kaushlendra Pratap Singh ITS (Indian Trade Service 2011), on Central Deputation since 13th February 2023 and presently serving as Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Defence, has been re-designated as Director – Ministry of Defence, New Delhi, until 12th February 2028.
The Indian Trade Service (ITS) is a Group A civil services of the Government of India. Recruited through the UPSC, ITS officers engage in trade negotiations, export promotion, and import regulation, working to enhance India’s global trade footprint. They contribute to policy development and drive India’s economic priorities through strategic international trade engagement.
