Indian Bureaucracy, Bengaluru, February 12, 2025| The Government of Karnataka, announced transfer and reassignment of portfolio for four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of the state. The departments central to this administrative realignment include, Co-operation Department, Animal Husbandry, Food and Civil Supplies and Minority Welfare Department. The list of officers with their new assignments is list below.

  1. Major Manivannan P IAS (Karnataka 1998), presently, Principal Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Karnataka, given concurrent charge of the post of Principal Secretary – Co-operation Department, Bengaluru, Karnataka, in place of Dr Ajay Nagabhushan M N IAS (Karnataka 2004), relieved for assignment under central deputation.
  2. Shri Anbukkumar V IAS (Karnataka 2004), presently, Managing Director, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), Bengaluru, is given concurrent charge of the post of Secretary – Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Sciences and Fisheries Department, Karnataka, in place Dr Ajay Nagabhushan M N, IAS, for assignment under central deputation.
  3. Shri Manoz Jain IAS (Karnataka 2006), presently, Secretary, Minority Welfare Department, Karnataka, is transferred and appointed as, Secretary – Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Karnataka, and Legal Metrology Department, under Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Karnataka, along with concurrent charge of the post of Secretary – Planning, Programme Monitoring and Statistics Department, Bengaluru, Karnataka. He relieves Shri Kumar T H M IAS (Karnataka 2008),
  4. Smt Salma K Fahim IAS (Karnataka 2006), presently, Secretary, Tourism Department, Karnataka, is is given concurrent charge of the post of Secretary – Minority Welfare Department, Bengaluru, Karnataka, relieving Shri Manoz Jain IAS (Karnataka 2006).
