Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia presently the Chief Justice- Gauhati High Court has been appointed as Judge- Supreme Court of India .
Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia was born on August 10, 1960. Did his earlier schooling from Dehradun, Allahabad and Lucknow and graduated from Allahabad University in the year 1981. Completed his Masters in Modern History in the year 1983 and LL.B. in the year 1986.Initially practiced on the Civil and Constitutional side before the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad. Later shifted his practice to the newly created High Court of the State of Uttarakhand, at Nainital. Designated as Senior Advocate in June, 2004.Elevated as a permanent Judge of Uttarakhand High Court on November 01, 2008. Took oath as the Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court on 10.01.2021.
