Shri Justice Sarasa Venkatanarayana Bhatti presently Judge- Kerala High Court has been appointed as Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.

Justice Sarasa Venkatanarayana Bhatti is born on 06.05.1962. Obtained Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Jagadguru Renukacharya College, Bangalore. Enrolled on 21.01.1987 in the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh and started practice in the High Court of Judicature of AP at Hyderabad. On 12th April, 2013 was sworn-in as Additional Judge of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh. Appointed as Judge of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh and assumed charge as such on 01.06.2014. Upon bifurcation and establishment of High Court of Judicature of Andhra Pradesh at Amaravathi on 01.01.2019, was sworn-in as a judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court and later on transferred and appointed as Judge of the High Court of Kerala w.e.f. 19.03.2019. Appointed as Acting Chief Justice wef 24.04.2023.
