Justice Manjusha Ajay Deshpande presently Additional Judge- Bombay High Court  re- appointed as Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court for a fresh term of one year w.e.f. 12.08.2025.

Justice Manjusha Ajay Deshpande born on 27 October 1968 at Aurangabad, has done her schooling in St. Francis De Sales High School, Aurangabad. On completion of higher secondary education in Saraswati Bhuvan Education Society’s Junior College, Aurangabad, was admitted to the five year law course in Manikchand Pahade Law College at Aurangabad and completed law in the year 1991. She stood first in the order of merit in the then Marathwada University at Aurangabad.

Enrolled in the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa on 13 September 1991. On being enrolled on the roll of Bar Association, joined office of senior advocate late Shri. Prabhakarrao R. Deshmukh at Aurangabad. Since then practiced in the High Court Bench at Aurangbad.

During her career as an Advocate dealt with various civil, criminal and constitutional matters, more particularly, service matters. Has worked for various Government undertakings and Semi Government organizations as Panel Advocate like Zilla Parishad Hingoli, Zilla Parishad Nanded, Zilla Parishad Aurangabad, Municipal Corporation Aurangabad, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, SBI Life Corporation, Godavari Marathwada Irrigation Development Corporation. She was appointed as an Assistant Government Pleader/Additional Public Prosecutor in the High Court Bench at Aurangabad in October 2013. Thereafter appointed as an Additional Government Pleader and Additional Public Prosecutor in the High Court at Aurangabad in October 2015.

Has worked as member of committee constituted under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act in various organisations including High Court. Has worked as a “Trained Mediator” in the Legal Aid Services Sub Committee at Aurangabad Bench. Was elected as Vice President of the High Court Bar Association Bench at Aurangabad in the year 2009-2010. Was for some years associated with Savli Niradhar Stree Kalyan Sanstha, Aurangabad an NGO for destitute women who are in need of shelter and protection.

Elevated and appointed as an Additional Judge of Bombay High Court on 11 August 2023.
