Shri Justice Bibhu Prasad Routray has been appointed as Judge of the Orissa High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office. Shri Justice Bibhu Prasad Routray had joined as Additional District & Sessions Judge, Sambalpur being selected by the High Court of Orissa as an Officer in the cadre of District Judge. Since then he worked in different posts in District Judiciary including District & Sessions Judge of Nabarangpur & Sambalpur and also worked as Principal Secretary to Government in Law Department, Odisha and lastly worked as District & Sessions Judge, Ganjam before his elevation as a Judge of Orissa High Court on 08.11.2019. He is the second son of Smt. Ashalata and Jameswar Routray, and the only son-in-law of Smt. Malatilata & Anadi Charan Jena.
