JS Level Reshuffle in Sikkim, Himmat Rai SCS Appointed Jt Secy Election

Indian Bureaucracy, Gangtok, April 04, 2025| The Government of Sikkim announced key administrative transfers through the Department of Personnel, effective immediately. The state has appointed its Senior Sikkim Civil Service (SCS) officers to the positions of Joint Secretary in the Election Department, Rural Development Department, and in the Information and Public Relations Department.

1. Shri Himmat Rai SCS, presently Joint Secretary, Power Department, Gyalshing, is transferred and appointed as Joint Secretary – Election Department, Sikkim.
2. Smt Saptika Rai SCS, presently on deputation and posted as Joint Secretary, Administrative Reforms Commission, is repatriated and aoippnted as Joint Secretary – Rural Development Department, Sikkim.
3. Shri Deepak Kumar Rai SCS, presently Joint Secretary, Rural Development Department, is transferred and appointed as Joint Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department.
