13 Bureaucrats appointed as Joint Secretary, GoI |  The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointments of 13 Officers at Joint Secretary (Level 14 of the Pay Matrix) with Asangba Chuba Ao IAS (Bihar  2003) appointed as Joint Secretary- Ministry of Civil Aviation for a tenure of five years vice Usha Padhee IAS (Odisha 1996), Ajit Bhalchandra Chavan CSS appointed as Additional  CEO- GeM SPV, Department of Commerce for a tenure of five years vice Deepak Kapoor IA&AS (1998), Vishwesh Negi IFS (2002) appointed as OSD (JS level)- Department of Defence for a tenure of three years or until further orders vice Somnath Ghosh IFS (1997) while Jayant Kumar IRSME (1995) is appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of Defence Production for a combined tenure of seven years up to 02/10/2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier vice Puneet Agarwal IAS (Tripura 1998).

Shalabh Tyagi IRSEE (1997) appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of Defence Production for a tenure of five years  vice Chandraker Bharti IAS (Uttarakhand 1996) , Sanjog Kapoor IRS (IT) (1999) appointed as Joint Secretary & Financial Adviser- Ministry of Education for an overall tenure of five years vice Darshana Momaya Dabral IP&TA&FS (1990), Vinit Kumar IRSEE (1994) appointed as CEO- Khadi & Village Industries Commission (KVlC), Mumbai under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises for a combined tenure of seven years vice  Preeta Verma IPS (Bihar 1991)  while Indu Rani Dubey IRTS (1994) appointed as Joint Secretary- Ministry of Minority Affairs for a tenure of five years vice  Nigar Fatima Husain IDES (1996).
