He has been a Director of Bharat Dynamics Limited since November 19, 2014. He served as a Director of Bharat Electronics Limited from September 3, 2015 to 2016. Mr. Rao served as Part-Time Official Director of Bharat Electronics Limited from November 3, 2014 to August 26, 2015
