India’s Wardwizard Innovations Wins $1.29B to Revolutionize Philippines Transport with EVs

(WIML), known for its electric vehicles under the ‘Joy e-bike’ and ‘Joy e-rik’ brands in India, secured mega USD 1.29 billion order from Beulah International Development Corporation, a prominent business integration company in the Philippines backed by RP Connect. The collaboration aims to revolutionise Philippines’ public transportation system by introducing electric vehicles.

The MoU, signed by Mr. Shreyas Kurhekar, Head of Production and Business Development (Exports) at Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited, and Ms. Nadia Arroyo, President of Beulah International Development Corporation, marks a strategic effort to bring innovative electric vehicle technology to the Philippines and create new job opportunities.

Yatin Gupte, Chairman & Managing Director of Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd., expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, its significance in introducing advanced electric vehicle solutions to the Philippines market.

The partnership aligns with the Philippine Government’s Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP) to replace outdated petrol and diesel vehicles with modern electric alternatives, promoting safer and more sustainable transportation.
