The Indian Journal of Biochemistry and Biophysics (IJBB), published by CSIR-National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (NIScPR) in New Delhi, has released a special issue in collaboration with the Department of Biochemistry at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. This special issue, themed “Multiple facets of Protein Science,” contains a collection of original research papers and review articles covering various aspects of structural biology. The articles touch on subjects such as mutant EGFR inhibitors, oncogenic partnerships in cervical cancer therapy, protein carbamylation, bacterial histone-like proteins, and more.

IJBB is a prestigious monthly peer-reviewed research journal focused on Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Biotechnology. It holds a Journal Impact Factor (JIF) of 1.4, making it the highest-ranked among the journals published by CSIR-NIScPR. With an esteemed editorial board and contributions from respected researchers globally, the journal has garnered significant attention from the scientific community.

The successful publication of this special issue was made possible through the dedicated support and encouragement of Prof. Ranjana Aggarwal, the Director of CSIR-NIScPR.
