PIB News Update:Regional Outreach Bureau, Guwahati under Ministry of Information and Broadcasting celebrates the 150thbirth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi from 24th September. The Director General, North East Zone Shri. L R Vishwanath has decided that the mobile exhibition will move in and around Guwahati till 2nd October 2019.  As part of this mobile exhibition vans on the theme of Gandhi put up in different parts of the city. Simultaneously ten troupes of ROB Guwahati are performing skits and other cultural performances on the theme of SwachhtaAbhiyan, Plastic Free India and Fit India in and around Guwahati city.

One Mega Exhibition on the 150th Birth Anniversary of Gandhiji is also planned during 14th -20thOctober in the city.
