Under the aegis of Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation and Ministry of Urban Development, an Official Language Seminar on “Hindi Aur Hum” was organized by Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) at Tamarind Hall, India Habitat Center, Lodhi Road, New Delhi on 23rd February, 2017. The Seminar aimed at improving the pace of implementation of Official Language in the all 20 organizations working under these two Ministries. This programme was presided by Dr. M Ravikanth, IAS (r), CMD HUDCO.
In this seminar, Dr. Satya Narayan Jatiya, Deputy Chairman, Parliamentary Official Language Committee and Shri Prabhas Kumar Jha, Secretary (Official Language), O.L. Department, Home Ministry were the Chief Guests. Shri R.K. Dwivedi, Director (O.L.), Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation presented the keynote address. The Seminar emphasized that through the usage of Hindi Language in application proforma and other documents, accessibility to affordable housing could be improved.
