Home Minister Rajnath Singh will chair a meeting on Indo- Myanmar Border issues in Aizawl. The meeting is likely to discuss the status of border infrastructure along the Indo-Myanmar border and implementation of Border Area Development Programme projects.
Mr Singh will also review the status of streamlining the Free Movement Regime for better facilitation of movement of people across the border.
The Chief Ministers of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram are expected to attend the meeting along with the chief secretaries, DGPs of the states, Director General of the Assam Rifles and other senior officials.
