Haryana Promotes Eight 2009-Batch IAS Officers to Super Time Scale

Indian Bureaucracy, Chandigarh, January 07, 2025| In an order issued today, the Government of Haryana has approved promotion of eight 2009-batch IAS officers to the Super Time Scale (Level 14 in the Pay Matrix), with effective from January 1, 2025. In the related notification, the posts of District Municipal Commissioner, Gurugram, currently being held by Shri Ashok Kumar Garg and the post of Chief Administrator, Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board, held by Shri Mukesh Kumar Ahuja, have been declared equivalent in status and responsibilities to the post of Secretary to the Government of Haryana at the Commissioner’s rank.

The officers promoted are:

1. Shri Yash Garg IAS (Haryana 2009), he is presently, Director General and Secretary – Industries & Commerce, Haryana; Director General – Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Haryana; Commissioner – Food & Drugs Administration, Haryana; Managing Director – Haryana Medical Services Corporation Ltd.
2. Shri Pankaj IAS (Haryana 2009), he is presently, Director General and Special Secretary – Urban Local Bodies, Haryana and Mission Director – State Urban Livelihood Mission and State Urban Development Authority, Haryana; Director General – Supplies and Disposals, Haryana.
3. Shri Mani Ram Sharma IAS (Haryana 2009), he is presently, Labour Commissioner – Haryana and Special Secretary – Labour Department, Haryana; Secretary – Home Department, Haryana.
4. Shri Sujan Singh IAS (Haryana 2009), he is presently, Director General – State Transport, Haryana and Secretary – Transport Department, Haryana.
5. Shri Ashok Kumar Garg IAS (Haryana 2009), he is presently, District Municipal Commissioner, Gurugram and Commissioner – Municipal Corporation, Gurugram, Haryana.
6. Smt Monica Malik IAS (Haryana 2009), she is presently, Director General and Special Secretary – Women & Child Development, Haryana; Secretary – Haryana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights; Member Secretary – Haryana State Commission for Women; Managing Director – Haryana Women Development Corporation Ltd.
7. Shri Mukesh Kumar Ahuja IAS (Haryana 2009), presently, Chief Administrator – Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board and Secretary – Haryana Public Service Commission.
8. Smt Sharandeep Kaur Brar IAS (Haryana 2009), presently, General Manager (Region) –  Food Corporation of India (FCI), a Director Level position, Haryana.
