As part of cleanliness drive HAL employees and senior executives led by Mr. T. Suvarna Raju, CMD, undertook cleaning of market area and the street adjacent to the Corporate Office here today. “All our complexes, divisions and offices across the country are involved in spreading this important message of cleanliness and hygiene as we launch this campaign for 15 days,” he added.
The awareness program (Swachhta Pakhwada) for fortnight include segregation of waste, seminars on personal hygiene, drawing, painting, essay and quiz competitions for children of employees, skits, street plays, mini marathons, plantation of saplings etc., he said.
Mr. Raju kick-started the fortnight long program by administering the Swachhta (Cleanliness) Pledge to HAL employees yesterday. He asked them to continue the activities even after the awareness programs concludes on December 15, 2017.
