His Excellency Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd), Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, visited the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat (EBSB) Camp of NCC at Tezpur University on 10 Jan 19. He addressed the NCC Cadets of the North Eastern Region and Uttar Pradesh and asked them to become model citizens of the country and be at the for front of National Building.
The Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat (EBSB) Camp of NCC at Tezpur University, Assam under the North Eastern Region NCC Directorate, Shillong commenced on 01 Jan 19 and will culminate in 12 Jan 19. PT, Basketball, Volley Ball , talks by visiting dignitaries, visit to Air Force Station to see flying, various competitions of Debate, Group Dance, Group Song , National Integration Awareness Presentation (NIAP), Drill are keeping the 578 NCC Cadets constructively engaged.
Maj Gen Raju Chauhan, Additional Director General, NCC, North Eastern Region Directorate, Shillong , who was present on the occasion, spoke about fostering the spirit of National Integration amongst the cadets.He was sanguine that at the end of the Camp, the cadets would be better equipped to face the world.
The Camp Commandant of EBSB Camp , Brig K Sreenivasa Rao, Group Commander Tezpur Group NCC , mentioned that the cadets have participated with zeal and enthusiasm in all activities of the Camp.
Col RB Patil is the Training Officer for the Camp while Col SS Kular is the Deputy Camp Commandant of the Camp.
