Secretary Level Appointments at the Centre – Indian Bureaucracy News | The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointments of five IAS Officers at the Secretary Level with immediate effect , the names of the officers are :
Shri Pradip Kumar Tripathi IAS (AGMUT 1987) presently Secretary (Coordination), Cabinet Secretariat appointed as Secretary to the Lokpal till the date of his superannuation (i.e. 30.06.2024) and thereafter on contract basis for a period of two years beyond the date of his superannuation on usual terms and conditions applicable to re-employed Central Government officers.
Shri Raj Kumar Goyal IAS (AGMUT 1990) presently Secretary- Department of Border Management, Ministry of Home Affairs appointed as Secretary, Department of Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice.
Shri Amit Yadav IAS (AGMUT 1991) presently in the cadre appointed as Officer on Special Duty, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India. The officer will take over as Secretary, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment vice Shri Saurabh Garg IAS (Odisha 1991) upon his superannuation on 31 .07.2024.
Shri Rajendra Kumar IAS (Tamil Nadu 1992) presently Director General, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, Ministry of Labour & Employment appointed as Secretary, Department of Border Management, Ministry of Home Affairs vice Shri Raj Kumar Goyal IAS (AGMUT 1990) upon his appointment as Secretary, Department of Justice.
Shri Rakesh Ranjan IAS (Manipur 1992), Special Secretary. Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare appointed as Chairman, Staff Selection Commission in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India .
