PIB News Update:Swachhata Hi Sewa’ campaign is being observed at Employees’ State Insurance Corporation Hqrs., Regional Offices/Sub-Regional Offices, Hospitals and Dispensaries across the country from 19.09.2019 to 02.10.19. During the campaign, special drive for cleanliness of premises, tree plantation for clean environment, creating awareness among Insured Persons and Beneficiaries are being carried out. Under outreach of the campaign, better health practices, hand wash techniques, preventive health measures, etc. are being demonstrated. Medical Officers/Para-medical staff of various offices are organising camps to create awareness on preventive health measures and personal hygiene.
As a part of ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa’ Campaign Shri Raj Kumar, Director General, ESIC, and other senior officials and staff carried out cleanliness drive in and around Hqrs. office premises today. DG, ESIC urged for change in behavior towards cleanliness and stop usages of plastic. Saplings were also planted in support of this campaign. Better hand wash techniques and segregation of wastes were also demonstrated by a team of medical professionals led by Dr. Pratima Dave.
