Election Commission has said, it will hold all future elections using Electronic Voting Machines with Voter-verifiable paper audit trail (VVPAT). Chief Election Commissioner Nasim Zaidi told this to reporters after holding an all-party meeting in New Delhi yesterday.
The meeting was convened to discuss the issues relating to the reliability of EVMs and VVPATs and electoral reforms. Chief Election Commissioner said, the Commission will also offer an opportunity to all political parties to prove that EVMs used in the recently held polls were tampered with or can be tampered.
