DVC Observed Vigilance Awareness Week-2017- indian Bureaucracy

Vigilance Awareness Week-2017, was observed in all field formations including HQ in DVC from 30th  October to 4thNovember, 2017. The week started with a specialized pledge administered by the highest authority of the respective project/ department all over the valley. At DVC HQ the pledge was administered by Sri P.K. Mukhopadhyay, Member-Secretary, DVC. An Workshop on ‘Role of CVC & Red flags in public procurement’ was organized at DVC HQ. Kolkata, on 31.10.2017, where Sri Ramachandan Venkataramani, Ex-Central Technical Examiner(CTE) of CVC, conducted the workshop. In another Workshop held on 03.11.2017, on ‘Constitutional provision relating to Disciplinary Proceeding’, Sri Surjit Singh, Ex-Director, CVC, was the Speaker.

Outreach activities on competitions like painting, essay writing, speech, debate etc. on “My vision-Corruption free India” were also organized at different schools and colleges.
