The Department of Land Resources (DoLR) is actively participating in the Swachhata Pakhwada and the Special Campaign 3.0. Various cleanliness activities are underway in all three offices of the department located in NBO Building, Shivaji Stadium Annexe, and CGO Complex. The Swachhta Pakhwada is being observed from 1st to 14th October 2023.

During the preparatory phase from 15th to 30th September 2023, the department focused on identifying pending references, conducting cleanliness activities, reviewing files, and managing redundant materials. Obsolete items, including e-waste and furniture, were identified through inventory management, and the process for disposal through e-auction has been initiated.

In the first week of the Special Campaign 3.0, the department organized a “Shramdaan- Swachhata Hi Seva” at Shivaji Stadium Bus Terminal in New Delhi as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. The Secretary for the Department of Land Resources, Shri Ajay Tirkey, conducted review meetings with senior officers, visited all three offices, and directed effective monitoring of all cleanliness activities.

Employees are encouraged to keep at least one plant at their official desks and are motivated to switch off power during lunch hours to save energy. The department’s Rejuve Wellness Centre, created in 2021, is being utilized for yoga, meditation, and health de-stress management. As part of Special Campaign 3.0, a series of health lectures, starting with ‘Ayurveda with special focus on Preventive Healthcare,’ was organized in October 2023.

Activities such as the disposal of pending references, file weeding, and identification of redundant materials and e-waste items are being documented and uploaded on the SCDPM Portal of DARPG (Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances). Pictures and videos of Swachhata activities are also being shared through social media handles.
