The India International Trade Fair (IITF) continues to attract substantial visitors from across the country, with this year’s total footfall projected to exceed one million. The 2024 edition registered over one million visitors, with an average daily attendance of approximately 60,000, rising to nearly 150,000 on weekends and public holidays. These figures align closely with the 42nd IITF held in 2023, which also recorded a total footfall exceeding one million and a single-day peak of 150,000 visitors.
The arrangement is aimed at ensuring inter-agency coordination, effective policing, and smooth crowd regulation during the forthcoming India International Trade Fair. With substantial domestic and international participation expected, the high-profile trade fair remains under heightened security watch in view of its prominence and prevailing security sensitivities.
