In a remarkable celebration of women power, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) teams up with the Ministry of Women and Child Development for an inspiring cross-country bike expedition led by ‘Yashaswini’ – a squad of CRPF women bikers.

Starting on October 3, 2023, three squads of 150 women CRPF officers will embark on a thrilling cross-country rally. Mounted on 75 Royal Enfield (350cc) motorbikes, they’ll commence their journeys from the Northern (Srinagar), Eastern (Shillong), and Southern (Kanyakumari) regions of India. The epic conclusion is set to take place on October 31, 2023, at the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar (Kevadia), Gujarat.

This incredible expedition will span approximately 10,000 km, encompassing 15 states and 2 Union Territories. Along their routes, numerous engaging events are planned, including interactions with various groups championing “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” (BBBP) such as school children, college girls, women self-help groups, NCC cadets, children of CCIs, NYKS members, adolescent girls & boys, anganwadi workers, among others. The journey will also include the felicitation of BBBP Champions.

In addition to promoting the Force’s motto of “Desh Ke Hum Hain Rakshak,” the women bikers will prominently feature the BBBP logo on their uniforms and banners, effectively championing this crucial cause nationwide.
