Kendriya Vidyalaya, CRPF, Amerigog, Guwahati has won the National Youth Parliament Competition for 2015-16 organised by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs. Winners of the 28th Competition for Kendriya Vidyalayas were felicitated by the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs.
The students and teachers of Kendriya Vidyalayas from Ambala, Bhopal, Delhi, Jaipur, Jhansi, Lucknow, Kurnool, Madurai, Ranchi , Vasco and Visakhapatnam were also facilitated.
Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has been organizing National Youth Parliament Competition from 1966 for schools, colleges and Universities for familiarizing the students with the practices and procedures of Parliament, techniques of discussion and debate and development of leadership qualities, spirit of self-discipline and tolerance of diverse opinions.
