The Central Government has approved formation of a service in the name of “Indian Skill Development Service”. The Service will be notified shortly in consultation with the UPSC and other concerned Departments.
This was stated by the Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions and Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office Dr. Jitendra Singh in a written reply to a question by Shri T. Rathinavel in the Rajya Sabha.
