CII Hida Training Program On Program & Project Management – For Advanced Infrastructure

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in collaboration with Overseas Human Resources and Industry Development Association (HIDA), Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) is organizing the program on Program & Project Management for Advanced Infrastructure (PPMI) under the scheme of Carbon Reduction Technology Promotion (CRTP) Programs. The programme targets business managers or leaders responsible for managing projects in companies. Participants related to infrastructure fields are preferable. It is a practical course designed to allow participants to learn the characteristic management methods of Japanese corporations, thinking behind these methods, and to study how to apply these to their own companies.

OBJECTIVE:

This training program is designed for the participants to:

(1) Acquire fundamental methods and basic application skills of project management, used to plan and manage a single project.

(2) Learn the elements of planning and management  peculiar to infrastructure projects.

3) Learn the concept of program management needed for development/ planning/ implementation of complex infrastructure such as eco-smart systems, railway systems etc., which are gaining increasingly importance in developing countries.

(4) Enable the participants to obtain deeper understanding of roles of project managers and program managers.
