Children’s Day was celebrated in SNEHA School, patronized by NLC India Limited on 14.11.2018, in commemoration of consummate love which Late Punditji enlivened all through his life that touched and transformed the lives of millions of children in Independent India. Due to the pre-occupation, the message of Smt. Kanchan Rakesh Kumar, President of SNEHA Opportunity Services, was read by Smt. Salma Philip, Principal of the Sneha School. In her felicitation, Smt. Rakesh Kumar highlighted that SNEHA School is the true beacon of hope which shines the light of love which Punditji exemplified for the welfare and betterment of mentally challenged children who are under its care for more than 30 years. SNEHA School thus translates the love of Punditji for children in to action with demonstrable difference which it makes in the lives of special children over many years through sustainable rehabilitation interventions, she mentioned in her message. President-SNEHA Opportunity School wished special children all joy and happiness on this occasion as they are securely enveloped with compassion and loving care of SNEHA that gives them wings of hope for a brighter tomorrow.
Smt. Santhi Vikraman and Smt. Aruna Rao , guests of honour for this programme, livened up the occasion by engaging special children meaningfully through interaction laced with fun and encouraging their agile participation in various activities like drawing, painting and colouring that brought to the fore the creative best of SNEHA Children. The celebration turned so sweet and memorable for the children as they savoured chocolates that gave them the taste of love of Punditji for them as well.
