Centre notifies 48 Joint Secretary Appointments in a major reshuffle in Indian Bureaucracy

In a significant development in Indian Bureaucracy Latest News, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a total of 48 appointments at the level of Joint Secretary and Joint Secretary equivalent, reinforcing the administrative framework at the senior policymaking tier. These appointments, made at Level 14 of the Pay Matrix, reflect the government’s continued focus on strengthening governance through experienced and capable officers drawn from diverse services and backgrounds.   1. Shri Kapil Meena IAS (SK:2010) has been appointed as MD, National Horticulture Board (NHB), Department of Agriculture & FW for a combined tenure of five years upto 17/01/2027 vice Shri B. Srinivas IAS (KL:1991), by cancelling the appointment of Shri Satyendra Singh IFoS (AM:1996) as MD, National Horticulture Board (NHB) vide ACC order No. 33/03/2022-EO(SM-l) dated 23.02.2022:
