POWERGRID has been conferred “CBIP Award for Best Performing Power Transmission Utility” and Shri I.S. Jha, CMD has been bestowed “CBIP Award for Outstanding Contributions in Power Transmission Sector”. Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP), is a premier Institution, rendering dedicated services to professional organisations, engineers and individuals for more than 87 years.
These awards were presented by Hon’ble Union Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Smt. Uma Bharti at the “CBIP Awards 2016” function held in New Delhi on 29th December, 2015.
