Capital Reshuffle, 7 IAS Among 23 Moved, Nandini Paliwal IAS Gets Services

Indian Bureaucracy News, New Delhi, September 09, 2025| The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD), transferred seven (07) IAS and sixteen (16) DANIC officers across important administrative posts. The changes, cleared by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), span from senior secretariat positions to field-level roles in districts and subdivisions.

In total, the orders include appointment of one new Deputy Commissioner, two Deputy Secretaries, three new Additional District Magistrates (ADMs), and 12 new Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) across the city. With urban expansion pressures mounting, the focus is on boosting revenue collection and land management in Delhi.

At the IAS level, Senior officer Nandini Paliwal of 2003, Commissioner of Trade & Taxes, has been given additional charge of Services Department—responsible for handling transfers and postings. Abhishek Singh of 2009 batch is the new Home Secretary. Younger officers have also been placed in the field as SDMs of Saket, Kapashera, and Narela.

2. Shri Shailendra Singh Parihar IAS (AGMUT 2018), presently Special Secretary, Finance & Planning, GNCTD, is transferred and appointed as Deputy Commissioner – Shahdara, Revenue Department, GNCTD.
3. Smt Rishita Gupta IAS (AGMUT 2019), presently Deputy Commissioner – Shahdara, Revenue Department, GNCTD, is placed at the disposal of MCD.
4. Ms Ayushi IAS (AGMUT 2021), presently SDM – Kanjhawala, Revenue Department, GNCTD, is transferred and appointed as SDM – Vasant Vihar, Revenue Department, GNCTD.
5. Ms Anuja Trivedi IAS (AGMUT 2023), presently awaiting posting, is appointed as SDM – Kapasheda, Revenue Department, GNCTD.
6. Shri Jarad Pratik Anil IAS (AGMUT 2023), presently awaiting posting, is appointed as SDM – Narela, Revenue Department, GNCTD.
7. Shri Piyush Kumar IAS (AGMUT 2023), presently awaiting posting, is appointed as SDM – Saket, Revenue Department, GNCTD.
