(NMDC), Hyderabad, Ministry of Steel, with pay at Level 14 of the pay matrix (₹1,44,200-2,18,200), for a period of three years, under central deputation basis.
National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), reported robust growth for FY24, with a 10% rise in iron ore production to 45.1 million tonnes and a 16% jump in sales. This operational strength allowed a significant financial uplift, pushing annual turnover to ₹21,294 crore, a notable increase from the previous year’s ₹17,667 crore.
The company’s profit after tax (PAT) also saw a healthy rise, settling at ₹5,632 crore. This positive momentum was particularly strong in the fourth quarter, mirroring the annual trend of higher output and sales. Bolstered by this performance and a strategic investment of over ₹150 crore in a new R&D centre, NMDC is now focused on an ambitious goal: expanding its production capacity to 100 million tonnes per annum by 2030.
