Shri C Kannan presently Director (Finance), Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), has been given extension in tenure w.e.f. 04.12.2017 till 30.06.2019. Shri Kannan a Mechanical Engineer cum Cost Accountant by profession, Mr. Kannan before joining Solar Energy Corporation of India on 4th December 2012, has had extensive work experience both in the Public and Private sectors in reputed companies like PowerGrid Corporation of India Ltd., Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd. etc. He handled various multidisciplinary functions like Finance & Accounts (in the areas of Finance Concurrence, Revenue Accounting, Finalization of Accounts, Treasury Management, IPO and Commercial Management), Regulatory Affairs, Merger and Acquisition, Contract Management and Operation & Maintenance of Thermal Power Station.
