Indian Bureaucracy, Patna, February 08, 2025 | The Bihar state government has issued two separate orders dated February 8, 2025, announcing transfer and assignment of additional responsibilities for seven IPS officers. Senior IPS officers Shri Sudhanshu Kumar and Shri P Kannan will take on new additional charges, while a separate notification outlines the transfers of five IPS officers, effective in various districts including East and West Champaran, Patna, and Gaya City, among others.
List of the transferred officers and their new place of posting is as below.
- Sudhanshu Kumar IPS (Bihar 1996), presently Additional Director General of Police (ADG), Traffic, Bihar, given additional charge of ADG – State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB), and ADG – Modernisation, Bihar Police.
- Shri P Kannan IPS (Bihar 2005), presently IG, Rail, with additional charge of IG – Modernisation, Patna, Bihar.
- Shri Shikhar Chaudhary IPS (Bihar 2021), presently Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO-1), Sadar, Motihari, Bihar, transferred and appointed as SP – Rural, Saran, Bihar, replacing Shri Shivam Dhakar IPS.
- Ms Diksha IPS (Bihar 2021), presently Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Criminal Investigation Department (CID), is transferred and appointed as SDPO-1, Patna City, Patna, Bihar.
- Shri Mohibullah Ansari IPS (Bihar 2021), presently ASP, Nalanda, is transferred and appointed as SDPO, Pakaridayal, Motihari, East Champaran district, Bihar
- Ms Divyanjali Jaiswal IPS (Bihar 2022), presently ASP, Nalanda, transferred and appointed as SDPO – Ramnagar, Bagaha, West Champaran District, Bihar.
- Shri Shivam Dhakad IPS (Bihar 2022), ASP, Gaya City, transferred and appointed as SDPO-1, Sadar, Motihari, Bihar.
