Bihar Government has transferred about five thousand policemen throughout the state. Eleven Sergeant Major of police lines of ten districts including Patna have also been transferred. Additional Director General of Police S K Singhal told that 4994 police officials were posted at a place for over ten years. They have been directed to join at new places till 30th of this month. He said police officials will get salary of December from new station.
