Ms B Vijendra IAS (Telangana 2006), presently Collector & District Magistrate, Mahabubnagar, has been transferred and appointed as Secretary – Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) and Commissioner – Scheduled Castes Development (SCD), Telangana.
In her new role under the Government of Telangana, Ms Vijendra will oversee residential educational institutions dedicated to the welfare of marginalized communities and supervise policy implementation for Scheduled Castes development. The position involves strengthening educational access, monitoring welfare schemes, and ensuring effective delivery of social justice initiatives across the state.
