Shri Badri Narain Sharma, IAS (Raj 1985) presently posted as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Power, GOI, is likely to get an additional charge of Chief Managing Director (CMD), National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC).

Shri Sharma is a commerce graduate and PG and had started his Indian bureaucracy career in 1987 as SDO. He has been DM -Alwar and  Jaipur, MD-Energy(Raj),CMD-Finance & Disinvestment, MD -RIICO and Jt Secy-Energy (Central Deputation).
