9 IPS Transfers in Assam Police – Indian Bureaucracy News | The Assam Govt has transferred 9 IPS (Indian Police Service) Officers across the state with Anurag Agarwal IPS ( 1998) presently IGP (T&AP), Assam is promoted  to the rank of ADGP Grade  and transferred as ADG (T&AP), Assam, Surendra Kumar IPS ( 1998) presently IGP (V&AC), Assam and IGP (MPC), Assam transferred as ADG (V&AC), Assam, Srirnantapur, Guwahati, Satya Raj Hazarika IPS ( 2005) presently Deputy IGP (CR), Diphu  transferred as IGP- BTAD, Kokrajhar, Jitmol Doley IPS ( 2005) presently Deputy IGP (NER), Tinsukia  transferred as IGP (NER), Tinsukia while Abu Sufian IPS ( 2005) presently Deputy IGP (Railway), Assam, Guwahati transferred as IGP (MPC), Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati .

Arabinda Kalita IPS ( 2005) presently MD – Assam Police Housing Corporation Ltd., Assam, Rehabari, Guwahati transferred as IGP BI (EO), Assam, Srimantapur, Guwahati  and also continue to function as MD – Assam Police Housing Corporation Ltd., Assam, Rehabari, Guwahati, Imdadul Hussain Bora IPS ( 2005) presently Deputy IGP (Security), Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati transferred as IGP (Security), Assam, Kahilipara, Devojyoti Mukherjee IPS ( 2005) presently Deputy IGP (V&AC), Assam, Srimantapur, Guwahati transferred as IGP (CR), Nagaon while Prasanta Sagar Changmai IPS ( 2005) presently Deputy IGP (Admn.), Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati is promoted to the rank of IGP and transferred as IGP (T&AP), Assam, Uiubari, Guwahati.
