Shri Arjit Mahajan IAS (Assam Meghalaya 2022) presently Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar), Dibrugarh has been transferred and posted as Additional District Commissioner i/c, Bijni, Assam .
Shri Arjit Mahajan is a graduate of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, he holds a B.Tech. degree in Production and Industrial Engineering, where he consistently demonstrated academic excellence, graduating with First Division honors.
Since joining the IAS, Shri Mahajan has shown remarkable promise in public administration. He began his career as Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar), Dibrugarh, where he handled key responsibilities in district governance with efficiency and integrity. His leadership, people-centric approach, and problem-solving abilities were well recognized during his tenure.
In April 2025, Shri Arjit Mahajan was transferred and posted as Additional District Commissioner in-charge (i/c), Bijni, Assam. This new assignment marks a significant step in his administrative journey, where he is expected to bring the same commitment and effectiveness to the region’s development and governance.
