Shri Anjani Kumar IFS (2003), presently Ambassador of India to the Republic of Mali, has been concurrently accredited as the next Ambassador of India to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, with residence in Bamako. Shri Anjani Kumar has worked in various capacities in the Divisions dealing with Policy, Planning & Research, India’s relations with Bangladesh, Myanmar and Sri Lanka, Administrative and Personnel Matters and in the office of Minister of State for External Affairs. He graduated in History from Shivaji College followed by a Masters’ degree in Sociology from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. He also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Ranchi University.
