Shri Alok Kumar II IAS (Uttar Pradesh 1993) has been empanelled as Secretary at the Centre.
Shri Alok Kumar, IAS is widely regarded as a forward-looking and analytically grounded administrator whose career reflects a thoughtful blend of technology, public policy and institutional leadership. With a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (First Class) from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, a Postgraduate qualification in Public Policy from Princeton University, and a PG Diploma in Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi, he brings academic depth and global policy exposure to his administrative journey within the Indian Bureaucracy.
Currently serving as Principal Secretary to Government, Youth Welfare & Sports Development Department, Uttar Pradesh (since December 2023), Shri Kumar oversees a portfolio central to nurturing young talent and strengthening sports infrastructure.
