Shri Abhishek Dayal IIS (1997)presently Director , Media and Communication as Press Information Bureau , has been appointed as Chief Information Officer, CBI for a period of three years.
Shri Dayal started his career with Doordarshan News as Manager and Editor, news operations.who had handled assignments in the Home Ministry and the CRPF .Dayal had also served in the PIB unit of the Prime Minister’s Office and in Colombo as All India Radio correspondent.
As head of news operations for All India Radio in Colombo, he had covered some important assignments, including the upheaval and election in the Maldives, and the presidential election in Sri Lanka.
