AAI Corporate Vigilance Department organized workshop at Goa

A Workshop was organized by Corporate Vigilance Department, Airports Authority of India at Goa on the topic “Preventive Vigilance as a Tool of Good Governance” from 2^nd to 3^rd March, 2017. Around 39 Executives and 07 Non-Executives from Goa, Hubli, Belgaum and Kohlapur Airports participated in the workshop. Besides general issues, the workshop also covered varied aspects of vigilance and disciplinary matters. Among the eminent speakers, Mr. M.P. Juneja, IEM, AAI, Ex. CTE, CVC & Ex. Addl. Member, Railway Board spoke on “Common Irregularities in Public Procurement Process”. The presentations during the workshop included vigilance case studies, ECDA Regulations& Introduction to E-tendering/SAP/E-office/ERP/IT initiatives/Do’s & Don’t’s. Smt. Shubha Thakur, CVO, AAI addressed the gathering on the objectives of workshop. Besides, various issues related to preventive aspects were intensely discussed and deliberated. Such workshops are organized as a part of Preventive Vigilance on regular intervals.
