Shri A Seshagiri Rao presently Director(Network Planning & Marketing), RailTel has been appointed CMD, TCIL (Telecommunications Consultants India Limited) for a period of five years.
Shri A Seshagiri Rao is an Electronics and Communication Engineer from J.N.T.U., Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh). He started his career in Railways as an IRSSE officer and worked in all fields of Signalling & Telecommunication. He worked in Microwave maintenance, maintenance of Signalling and Communication in major Divisions, construction works of Signalling such as Panel, Route relay and SSI, installations and planning of the works and works programme for the Railways before joining RailTel on deputation initially.He attended a number of seminars in India and abroad and presented papers. He received a number of awards at personal level and shields for the Department he worked. On the academic front he is a merit scholarship holder right from his school days till the completion of his Engineering and received State and University ranks at all levels.
Shri A Seshagiri Rao has to his credit more than 28 years of experience in the field of Electronics and Communication. He is associated with RailTel since 2001 and is now responsible for Marketing and Network planning of RailTel, as a Director.
