Shri A Ajith Kumar IAS (Kerala 1994) presently Executive Director, Rubber Board has been sent to his parent cadre, Government of Kerala w.e.f. 01.11.2017 on personal grounds with imposition of extended cooling .
Shri A Ajith Kumar served as Secretary to the Governor of Kerala for the last seven years. He held various posts that include District Collector, Kottayam; Director of Public Instruction; Rural Development Commissioner and Guruvayoor Devaswom Commissioner, apart from being Secretaries to various departments such as Taxes, Education, Housing and Co-operation. He is a native of Thiruvananthapuram.
Shri A Ajith Kumar is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram and holds MBA from Cochin University. His wife is Smt. Bindi (Assistant Director, Dept. of Agriculture, Govt. of Kerala). Sri. Ashwin and Kum. Anjana are his children.
