92% Students of NLC schools have passed SSLC Exams 2016

NLC runs 10 Government aided schools, to educate the students of Neyveli and the surrounding villages. These include 2 High Schools and 3 Higher Secondary Schools.

870 students of the total 948 students of these 5 schools have passed the SSLC Examinations conducted by the Tamil Nadu Government during the month April 2016. This has resulted in 91.77% of success rate.

I   R.SUBHASHINI-nlc-indianbureaucracy
Girls have outnumbered the boys in the top slots. Four girls and one boy of the five schools have scored the highest marks. Selvi R. Subhashini of NLC Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Block-11 stood first in the school, scoring 493 out of 500. 345 students have passed out of the 354 appeared, taking the success rate to 97.45%. The centum scorers are Selvi J. Sharmila and Selvi A. Sumitha in mathematics, Selvi A. Sumitha in science and Selvi R. Subhashini and Selvi S. Sruthi in social science.

Selvi R. Gajapriya of NLC Higher Secondary School, Madarakuppam has taken the first place in the school with 486 marks out of a total 500 marks. 110 students had appeared in the exams and 109 students passed resulting in 99.09 percentage.

III   R.GAJA PRIYA-nlc-indianbureaucracy

Selvan R. Poorasamy of NLC Boys’ Higher Secondary School is school first with 441 out of 500 marks. 163 students wrote the exams and 128 could get through registering a pass percentage of 78.52.

II  A.SUMITHA-nlc-indianbureaucracy

In NLC Girls High School, Mandarakuppam 109 girls cleared the exams while 110 of them appeared. Success rate was 99.09% Selvi U. Mounika was awarded 478 marks out of the total 500 marks. Selvi A. Arthi scored full marks in social science.

Selvi R. Deepika of NLC High School at Block-26 also scored 467 out of 500. Of the 110 students who wrote the exams 106 passed registered 96.4%.

The NLC Management appreciated the head of the institutions and teachers for the 5% increase in the success rate, all the students and wished them success in their future endeavours.
