9 IPS reshuffle in Punjab Police | The Punjab Govt has transferred 9 IPS (Indian Police Service) Officers across the state with B K Uppal IPS (1991) now appointed as Special DGP Investigation- , Lokpal, Gaurav Yadav IPS (1992) presently ADGP- Modernization, Punjab now posted as ADGP- Administration with additional charge of Special Principal Secretary to Punjab CM, Gurpreet Kaur Deo IPS (1993) presently ADGP- Administration posted as ADGP- Community Affairs Division (CAD) and Women Affairs, Jitendra Kumar Jain IPS (1993) presently ADGP- Powercom posted as ADGP- PSPCL(Punjab State Power Corporation Limited), S K Asthana IPS (1993) now appointed as ADGP- Policy & Rules, Praveen Kumar Sinha IPS (1994) appointed as ADGP- Punjab State Human Rights Commission, G Nageswara Rao IPS (1995) presently ADGP- Cyber Crime transferred as ADGP- Human Rights, R K Jaiswal IPS (1997) presently IGP- STF, Punjab posted as IGP- Cyber Crime while Gurinder Singh Dhillon IPS (1997) presently IGP- Crime, Punjab is now posted as IGP- STF, Punjab Police.
